General Info

Located in the heart of Tokyo's vibrant Tsukiji district, Kamo-Tei offers a truly authentic and unforgettable dining experience for lovers of duck cuisine. Situated at 4 Chome-2-11 Tsukiji, Chuo City, Tokyo 104-0045, Japan, this Japanese restaurant stands out for its unique blend of traditional flavors and modern presentation. Known for its commitment to high-quality ingredients and expertly crafted dishes, Kamo-Tei is a must-visit for those seeking a special dining experience in the bustling metropolis.

One of the highlights of the menu at Kamo-Tei is the Duck Soba Lunch Set with Rice, a satisfying combination of tender duck served with savory soba noodles. This dish perfectly captures the essence of Japanese comfort food, offering both depth of flavor and a hearty meal in one. Another crowd favorite is the 鴨亭南蛮そば, a dish that showcases the delicate balance of rich duck flavors with the zesty notes of a tangy broth.

For those craving something more extravagant, Kamo-Tei’s 鴨の北京ダック風 (Duck Peking Duck-style) is an absolute must-try. This signature dish takes inspiration from the iconic Peking Duck, transforming it into a deliciously crispy, savory masterpiece. The presentation alone makes it worth the visit, while the exquisite taste will keep you coming back for more.

Additionally, if you're a fan of pâté, the restaurant offers two mouth-watering options: the Duck Liver Pâté and the Chicken Neck Pâté (鴨レバーのパテとセセリのパテ), which are rich, flavorful, and the perfect start to any meal at Kamo-Tei.

If you're in the mood for a lighter but equally satisfying dish, the Kyoto Duck Shabu-Shabu Short Course is an excellent choice. It offers a delicate and refined experience with thinly sliced duck cooked in a light broth, allowing the natural flavors of the meat to shine.

Kamo-Tei doesn’t just excel in food, but also in creating a comfortable, smoke-free atmosphere where guests can fully enjoy their meals. The restaurant accepts reservations, so you can easily secure a spot ahead of time. For those driving, there is a convenient paid multi-storey car park nearby, making it hassle-free to visit. Additionally, for those who prefer modern payment options, Kamo-Tei supports Rakuten Pay, ensuring that your dining experience is as smooth as possible.

Whether you're a duck connoisseur or simply looking for a unique Japanese dining experience, Kamo-Tei offers something for everyone. The combination of exceptional dishes, attentive service, and a relaxing environment makes it a top choice for locals and tourists alike.

What customers say?

“ We had dinner here by walking in without making any reservation. The staff who helped us throughout dinner was very helpful and the food was great! ”

“ I dropped someone at the airport and was looking for the place to have the last meal in Japan in my annual trip. I passed this place multiple times during my stay and decide to visit. I arrived quite late (close to 8 pm) without reservation on Wednesday. This is something I would not advise to anyone. Luckily, I got a seat and was able to order food. Then magic happened. Seasoning was really on point and the temperature of the dish was perfect. I really enjoyed every dish. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is craving a great food. ”

“ Really unique duck set menu! Fresh and seasonal ingredients ”

“ “This is a truly unique dining spot, offering a delightful atmosphere, excellent food, and outstanding service, all at very reasonable prices.” ”

- Bikram Subedi -

“ We found this place by coincidence. It is hidden in a side street in a business district. Does not necessarily target tourists, however, our experience was superb. Great food, great service. I would highly recommend the lunch set menu with the duck. ”

- Timur Edis -

“ Mix spring onion cheese and soba dip create interesting “risotto”. The soba is more wheat noodle than soba, which is a bit disappointing. Good value for a lunch set ”

- Kanro Foreveil -

“ Very patient and friendly waiter makes us feel fully respected even if we can’t speak good Japanese. The place is quiet and beautiful. The duck pot set has very elegant courses and they taste good. Highly recommend for dating and friend gathering. ”

“ I unexpectedly found this restaurant while walking back to my hotel and am really glad that I did! To start, the restaurant interior is beautiful and details such as the little ceramic duck chopstick holders add a nice touch. The staff were accommodating and helpful with recommending several dishes to try. I don't usually eat duck but enjoyed all the dishes I tried, even the duck hearts! My favorite dish was the duck leg confit. It was super tender and very flavorful! I recommend visiting this spot to try something amazing among all the sushi spots in the area. ”
